The TORO Mobile Technocrane Vehicle is a 4x4 all-terrain mobile base designed to increase the ability to use large cranes while saving on additional labor and costing a fraction of the time. It was built to carry large camera cranes and is vital when shooting in rough terrain and off-road locations. This mobile base has a large payload that safely accommodates all of our camera cranes up to 78’. The TORO is equipped with a four-wheel-drive with constant hydraulic power, allowing the operator to run the hydraulic system while driving. This is especially useful when traveling over rough terrain. You will have no trouble positioning this mobile base to your desired level due to its four corner hydraulic stabilizing jacks and hydraulic column leveling system. The Toro MTV is 12’ in length, 5’ wide, and 8’ tall with total working weight of 9000 pounds. The TORO is a safe and reliable solution for filming in remote locations that would be unreachable with a standard push chassis.
The 6x6 mobile base was designed to get a crane to positions that would have been essentially impossible by pushing them manually. The 6x6 features six wheel independent suspension along with airbags to assist in transporting the crane.
The 6x6 is special in its ability to navigate narrower and tighten passages through off road terrain that may not be possible with its bigger brothers Toro and Scorpion Bases.
