Thats why in the era that we live in, we have the responsibility of making each scene a work of art, and ShotCaller LLC is here to help you present what you want to express to the world with the highest quality and dedication.
Our passion as a business bloomed way before Shot caller was established in 2019, when our 18 year old owner Gabriel Camacho saw his first TechnoCrane on a movie set in 2005, while he was beginning his mechanical engineering studies, and then became completely enamored with remote heads in 2016 while working with his colleague Chris Herr.
The combination of his experience in engineering and as a grip, was a fantastic combo to enter the professional world of camera movement in a creative and technical manner. His enthusiasm throughout numerous movie sets encouraged him to innovate, design and create new techniques and machinery to not only solve problems, but to perform the impossible shots to make the DP’s dreams come true.
Today this is a core aspect to our operations in our businesses based in Los Angeles, Utah and Atlanta. Since starting as a grip to founding our first company in 2018 by demand, we have grown gaining not only more experience, but also with more fervor and committed than ever.
Shot Caller counts with world wide leading cinema equipment such as the first E-Scorpion (4x4 all electric crane base) and Scorpio cranes from Service Vision, the Torito 4x4 custom Base, 6x6 35’ Crane Base and 5 axis remote heads, amongst many other accessories customized and limited edition to execute the best and most challenging camera movements. Not only this being enough, we count with a professional team such as Manny Duran, John Connor and Roland Nix to provide the best quality and professionalism possible, with our technicians trained directly by professionals from Service Vision in Barcelona.
